WHO WE ARE
BVCI, founded in 1988 by cricket legend Chetan Pratap Singh Chauhan, is the heartbeat of veteran cricket in India. Our mission is to provide a platform for retired cricketers to relive their passion.
Founding President
A prolific cricketer and politician, Late Shri Chetan Chauhan has served as Chairperson of the BVCI since its inceptions; Late Mr. Chetan Chauhan debuted for Team India in 1969 as a Right-handed batsman and Right arm off-spin bowler.

In over forty test matches played for India, Chetan Chauhan used to open alongside Mr. Sunil Gavaskar regularly. He has also played for Delhi and Maharashtra in Ranji Trophy and was crucial in forming the Board of Control for Veterans Cricket in India.
