Each zone is independently run through state associations. Each zone is responsible for several states and managed for its operations and coordination by a vice president, who also sits on its executive board. Each state association further works within the state and its districts. It is indeed a comprehensive programme and exhaustive in nature. It brings all able minds and bodies to play cricket and have fun. India prides itself on even having veterans at the district level, and such tournaments are played based on a state level.
